Want to make a Yeast Starter? Home brewers are always led to believe making a yeast starter is for the advanced brewer. This could not be further from the truth. If anything beginning brewers should start with yeast starters. When you think about it they are nothing more than a small extract brew. Show Me How To Make A Yeast Starter

NEVER Flocculates

Makes decent beer, but the yeast NEVER flocculates. I want my Hazy to be due to protein, not tons of suspended yeast. Leaves a slightly sharp, nutty flavor to the beer due to the large amount of suspended yeast. I tried using this to make an American Pale Ale because I was hoping for a little more tropical flavors to add to the hops than a regular American Ale yeast would typically provide...but I am shocked how poorly it flocculates. Even after a few weeks in the keg, it's still hazy.
