Not a good clone

I was excited but quite surprised by this kit. It must have been the 3lbs of Munich extract but this beer turned out to be more of a dark stout. The kit was quality, very easy to follow, easiest of my 11 boils so far. To make matters worse my brew never carbonated (at least all the 22oz bottles never carbonated)! For a stout it had good taste, alcohol was about 8.2%. I drank all of it but in no way did this clone taste like Tricerahops.
