I have these on all my carboys and fermenting vessels; great supplement to digital thermometers as well; can be read from a distance and with a passing glance you'll know the approximate temp of the vessel; obviously does not read internal tank temps but it will tell you if you need to relocate your vessel during fermentation; good adhesive and stands up to repeated washings.
