Shiner Bock (5B) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

This is still in my fermenter (not a whole week yet) so I can't review the flavor. However, I can say...so far....so good. The OG was spot on and fermentation began almost exactly when expected. So I am well pleased with the kit as a whole. Got a long road ahead of me before I can finally taste it, but am believing it will be well worth the wait.

Great Bock beer. I made a 2L starter and filtered it with a 5 micron filter while kegging. Take your time fermenting and lagering this recipe and you won't be disappointed.

This beer is right on the money. I followed the instructions with a mini mash. I fermented this beer to the exact temps required. 55 for 14 days. came out amazing. went camping.... drank 5 gallons in 2 nights......going to pick up a few more for sure.

This is a great bock beer . I never had the real shiner . I will make this one again

Drinks well but not shiner. Maybe us Texas boys are just too familiar with the real thing. Over all a good beer I would probably do it again for summer.
