Going from primary to secondary it tasted weak, I will let it age for a while and maybe a heavy dose of blackberry will save it.

Have brewed this twice now. Excellent both times. Friends and neighbors raved about it. However, both times I had to add an extra ounce of blackberry flavoring, to get the blackberry to stand out a little better. I think it is an excellent kit.

Brewed this a few times and friends just love it! Blackberry flavoring is a little more pronounced versus the commercial version but still blends well. From my experience the taste gets better if it sits a few weeks extra after bottling, although that is hard to do :)

As other reviews have stated, the blackberry flavor is lot more pronounced than the Sam Adams' version. If I decide to make this again, I'll only use half the bottle.

Brewed Partial Mash with recommended dry yeast. 2 weeks primary, 2 weeks secondary, keg'd and aged for 6 weeks. This beer was a favorite of any beer drinking friend I had over while it was on tap. The flavors do take a couple more weeks to balance out but it was certainly drinkable at that 6th week. The more it aged the more pronounced the Blackberry became. I thought it had a terrific Wit base without the Blackberry. I wanted to back off the Blackberry a bit on the next batch but all my friends told me not too. This beer will be in my permanent rotation. Thanks AHS!
