Old Speckled Hen (8C) - EXTRACT Homebrew Ingredient Kit

Brewed 6/8, Fermented until 6/12. Bottled and in the cupboard until 6/25 and today it is perfectly carbed and has that beautiful malty taste with the soft backend hops I love SO much from Old Speckled Hen. Worth every penny in time, labor, and materials. OG 1.055 FG 1.020 ABV 4.9 White Labs Irish Ale yeast. A rich amber/orange with a fluffy white head, smells like a sunny day out in the grain field.

If you like Old Specked Hen you will love this kit. It tastes great and was very easy to do. This was actually my 2nd batch ever brewed and I found it very easy to follow.

This was my third brew, purchased ingredients in September everything went well. It definitely had that distinct taste Old Speckled Hen offers. The bottles I gave to friends and co workers got good review backs. Ordering again.

This was my first batch of home brew and it turned out great. Very similar to the commercial Old Speckled Hen, but with a richer flavor. Will certainly do this one again.
