Newcastle Brown Ale (11C) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

Great instructions. Gives all you need to make the beer. Can't wait for it to finish so we can taste it.

Brewed several times and always great. I brewed this beer both extract and full grain both are excellent.

I brewed this as an extract with specialty grains with the recommended Danstar dry yeast in early December 2015. I kegged it after three weeks and it has been in the keg an addtional month. Very nutty, malty, low hops. Nice session beer. I have not done a side-by-side tasting with Newcastle, but tastes similar. I am pleased with the results, though I have been more impressed with other AHS kits.

I think this is an excellent beer. It is one I try to always keep on tap.

This extract was my first attempt at homebrewing in almost 10 years. I wish I could say that I haven't lost my touch, but I'm pretty sure the simplicity of the recipe saved me. A very good clone, a couple of my friends only picked this out of a blind taste test against the namesake because they said it "tastes the same, only fresh"
