Description

Heritage Vienna Malt

Montana Craft Malt’s Vienna Malt undergoes an intensified kilning process to develop deeper malt complexity while maintaining balance. Similar to British Pale Malt but with a richer, toastier profile, this malt adds layers of bready sweetness, biscuit notes, and a hint of toast.

Vienna Malt can be used at 100% of the grist without overpowering the final beer, making it a great base for dark lagers and amber ales. It also works well in lower percentages to add depth to pale lagers, IPAs, and pale ales.
