Harpoon IPA (14B) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

I spent my 20's in Boston and Harpoon IPA was my beer. Brew with Voss Kveik because why wait? This came out really close - I think the grain bill is spot on. I dry hopped in a small mesh metal ball. I think that was a mistake because the only thing I'm missing is that super strong floral cascade aroma. If I were to do this one again, I would probably add another ounce or two to the boil and dry hop. Still, great beer with a nice hit of nostalgia.

This IPA came out really good. Been on an IPA kick lately, and tried the Stone's copy for AHS, and a BlueWhale IPA from Pacific-Cost Brewing. All 3 came out really good -- but the Harpoon was the cleanest. The BlueWhale and Stone's had the appeal with the deep color and high alcohol content, but the Harpoon will be the next IPA I brew

3 weeks in the primary and 3 weeks in the bottle and it is outstanding. Just the right amount of hops although I did dry hop with one once of citra for 5 days. It has an outstanding aroma and a perfect hops kick, but it isn't overwhelming for an IPA. I did the partial mash and it came out very clear, a mix between amber and golden color. Absolutely delicious. Nice Job AHS.
