Excellent

I have been making this brew for several years now and the quality is second to none. I see the term Clone used, this does not appear to be a clone to me. I make 16 gallon half kegs at a time, with a commercial kegging system. I use CO2 and Nitrogen on the kegs and everyone that tries the Guinness tells me its exactly the same as what comes out of Ireland... Dont compare this to the stuff in the cans ! As your tasting the cans etc... Anyhow this is an Awesome Product...

Just tried my first batch... mmm wow excellent... comparing it to ordering a Guinness in Ireland... NOT whats available in the states... first of all.. very smooth like in Ireland - NOT sour like here in the states. the roasted notes are maybe a little stronger than the original but that might mellow after some conditioning I did give it the 1% boost _:) and i'm enjoying it immensely. I do not have a nitrogen setup yet but this beer is doing really well without it.. it does get a great head and it keeps it... but its a little less fine foamy. The body of the beer is only slightly less creamy but that might improve with conditioning also. I'm able to get the classic cascade with my perlic creamer faucet and it puts a big grin on my face every time i pour

Spot on if not slightly better. Nitrous not necessary. The kit came with .5 oz extra hops then recipe calls for so I tossed em in real late in the boil. So good.

Just kegged this the other day and gave it a try. Awesome beer, I let it ferment for three weeks then straight to the keg. I dont have nitro but it is still amazing on co2. Good beer.

This clone matches up pretty well the real draught but falls short on the distinctive Guinness sourness. Would probably need a little acid malt or soured beer added to get the true flavor. Since I don't have kegging equipment I couldn't get the nitrogen cascade effect but the beer still have a great mouth feel and taste. I actually enjoy it more than the real thing. I do think that the hops are little over powering depending on your boil size so be cautious of that. Overall, I would definitely brew this again.
