Brewed this multiple times. OMG ! Being as I am from Scotland, I have downed many a pint of draught Guinness. This has to be by far the best Home Brew that not only I have made for myself but also for several guests. Lots of people actually told me it was better than the canned Guinness we had as a standby if we ran out.. (We Did) Anyhow, this brew is just fantastic... Get it NOW !!!!

I was pretty pleased with this. Most of my friends actually liked it better then guinness and adding the 1% alcohol boost is always a plus. I kegged it and used co2 and had great results. Also is fantastic for irish car bombs !!!

I brewed the extract version of this beer. Had the Guinness flavor, just less bitter. I would definitely brew this beer again. 1 week in the primary 1 week in the secondary. I did give the beer additional bottle conditioning time in order for the flavors to mellow and blend some. After 6 weeks, the beer was just right.

I brewed the partial mash kit, and all went well. If you take the pepsi challenge with one bottle homebrew and one bottle guiness you can tell the difference as my homebrew tasted much thinner than the real deal. I would still brew this beer again and again, its black as night, great foam head and very tasty for homebrew--all my friends loved the roasted/cocoa/coffee malty flavors--mine was a little hoppy but I added the extra half ounce of hops during the boil.
