Great taste

This was my first ever homebrew attempt, but the end product tasted great. I ended up fermenting for 2 weeks, with the last week in a secondary. Slow carbed in the kegerator for about 13 days. Initially the beer was very sweet, still tasted great. But after about 3 weeks in the kegerator and about 5 weeks total, the sweetness was tamed and it tasted almost exactly like the real deal. The end product was slightly darker, but still looks great in a glass. I followed the instructions exactly as provided.

a little dissapointed

Wanted to brew something to keep bottle count up. Followed this Recipe to a T, and less than spectacular resresults. The taste is spot on.the body is yohoo water. i have over 100 ag brews under my belt and was wanting to put a well known clone in my cellar to build a variety of beers for my guests. Maybe i screwed something up? Not in the least satisfied.

Great clone

Got the LMM, added 1/2 oz of both flavor hops instead of the 1/4 the recipe called for. Used Wyeast 3068 and fermented a little on the warm side for more banana esters (started @ 68 3 days finished @ 72). Bottled for 3 weeks... The beer turned out amazing!!!

Classic Review

Ordered the mini mash kit and just cracked it open last night. VERY impressed. I'd say the clone recipe is a bit lighter than that of the original but still very very good.
