Castle Lager (1C) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

It's been a while since I've had a real Castle Lager (a 2010 study abroad trip), so I can't speak on how close this turned out. I can say though that this is one easy drinking beer! Castle Lager was a beer I tried to find after a study abroad trip to ZA...unable to do so, I found many good local beers here in NC and eventually goy into homebrewing. Seeing this clone recipe brought back some great memories, and I will be brewing it again. Easy brew, great customer service, and killer results!

I didn't have any way to control my temperature during fermentation other than a cold pantry during an Ohio winter. So that may have effected the final flavor. The beer did however lager in the fridge at a constant temperature. Had faint hints of Castle Lager but not exactly the same. Still an excellent lager though. ( I normally drink English style bitters but brewed it for a taste of home) Better than anything you'll find in at the bar. Brew it!
