Self-Priming Anti-Gravity Transfer Pump

The pump is faster than an auto-siphon. The only problems is that it is very noisy, so minus one start.

Don't know how (or why) I did without this for so long

This has proven to be one of my best purchases in mead making. So easy to rack my mead. From primary to secondary, secondary to bottles, this greatly simplifies the process. I sanitize by running sanitizer through all the tubing and the pump and wait for a minute, then pump it all out. Start pumping mead and let a little bit flow out before placing in the bottle. Just pump water through the setup to clean, then separate and air dry. I see that a kit including the tubing and racking cane is now available. The only way to make this product better would be to change the switch to where pressure has to be maintained to pump. On one occasion I pressed the switch to turn it off and let go of the switch but apparently I hadn't fully depress the switch and the pump came back on and the bottle overflowed making a mess. Not the equipment's fault, but a momentary contact switch would prevent this. It would also require a hand to keep the switch depressed. Maybe a switch with both choices would be better.

Delivery Feedback

There were two boxes delivered, one for each ordered kit. In the past all items came together. One of the boxes has a side busted out. In reviewing my ingredients, I found that one of the packets of dry yeast was missing. I sent an email though "Customer Service?" two days ago and this shows up!
MOST of the beer kits are out of stock. Not sure what has gone on, but this is no longer a reliable source of my beer products. After 14 years, I'm searching for a new and reliable supplier.

It works great

I used this pump this past weekend & the wine moved through very quickly! I do need longer tubing for my larger batches of wine I’ll be doing in a month. Would greatly appreciate any help in getting at least 6 to 8 ft of tubing.
