Used White Labs WLP 004 Irish Ale Yeast. Followed directions. Kegged. Initially the peanut butter is up front which, if you like peanut butter, is pretty good. Over time the peanut butter melds with the malt and becomes a very good balanced stout. A favorite of my friends.
While I enjoyed this beer and will brew it again, it lacks that punch that you expect from a heavier beer. Also I think that a single dram of Peanut Butter is not enough, I would consider adding two because it cannot be tasted in the bottle. It is very drinkable and has good malty flavor.
