AHS Summer Irish Ale (6B) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

Thanks AHB, everything when as planned with the exception of the Vorlof. I used a new plate chiller and circulated back in the boil kettle. However when I diverted back to the car boy the beer had alot of protein floating around. I used a hops sack this time. I hit the target OG and hoping for the target Finial OG in two weeks.. tks

The second time I brewed this beer and I am a big fan. The mild peaty flavor is a great change of pace.

A great lighter beer that has a very slight smokey flavor with excellent body and a nice hop balance. A really good balance overall and it is truly hitting the spot right now considering the temps are finally in the 90's. I did the mini-mash and used White Labs Irish Ale with the alcohol boost.

This beer was very satisfying. light in color and a great balance of hops. This beer was great. Wish it woul have lasted longer, but I froze t on ccident and t never recovered 100%. I will brew this again

Excellent beer. It's a nice light pale ale, easy to quaff in the heat but tasty enough for any time. Nice light hop characteristics and a nice hint of peat.
