This mini-mash beer won 3rd place at the Bramwell, WV Oktoberfest in the Smoked Porter category. Was enjoyed by many friends with positive results long before the Oktoberfest. Two Guys Brew from Martinsburg, WV (me and my brewmaster friend) had a lot of confidence submitting this homebrew into the competition. You will not be disappointed.

Made this all grain version. Did a no sparge batch and still hit 6% abv and the flavor...WOW!!!! Amazing beer! Everyone who tried said they could sit and drink it all night, and I have done just that and will keep doing so. Keeping this one in the rotation and on deck!

I did the all-grain version of this and it turned out fantastic. I tried an Alaskan Smoked Porter which a friend brought me from Alaska about a year ago and really enjoyed it but cannot buy them locally. Very nice hint of smoke flavor that is not overpowering and balances well. This tasted great after 2 weeks in the bottle and I'm sure it will get better with age. Will do this one again.

Did the all grain BIAB. This beer turned out awesome! Has been in the bottle for a few months now and it just keeps gets better. Gave a six pack to a friend of mine, he texted me telling me how good it was and the next day he told me he drank the whole six pack that evening! I'm about out of this great beer and I will be brewing this again!!
