I brewed this with a mini-mash and dme. I was surprised it turned out pretty damn good. Although, I wasn't expecting much smoke with only 1.5lbs of rauch but it had just the right amount of smokiness. I would recommend to an extract brewer who brews this to do the minimash because you'll get a lot more out of the rauch malt than just steeping the grains. Greet beer and thanks a lot Austin Homebrew for the very speedy order processing. Also, the price can't be beat.
