Nice Blond Ale

Purchased this extract kit as a base for a Blueberry Ale that my wife has requested. Used OMEGA Yeast OLY 004 West Coast Ale with Prop Starter for 24 Hrs. Brewed as directed, added Alcohol Boost prior and maltodextrin, whirlflock and yeast fuel to flame out. Fermentation started almost immediately, steady and smooth for at least a week. OG: 1.070 Blond in color - Still in primary - will add Blueberry flavoring at bottling next week, then condition for at least 3 weeks before drinking. Austin Home Brew has been AWESOME to deal with - always send out orders fast and correctly - ALWAYS a pleasure doing business with them! Cheers
