AHS London Porter (12A) - MINI MASH Homebrew Ingredient Kit

I am fairly new to home brewing, having brewed about 5 batches of various beer this summer. This is my first try at a dark beer. Extract kit. I made it for a friend who is having a Halloween party tonight. One week in primary, two weeks in secondary. I kegged it 2 days ago in the fridge at 30 PSI. I just took it over to my friend's house, and us and a couple of his friends had a pint. It is soooo good!! I was almost sorry that I didn't keep it for myself, since I can't go to the party. They were all very impressed. It has a great color with a nice tan head. Nice roasted flavor. Not too hoppy with just the right amount of bitterness. I will for sure make this one again. Fairly new to homebrewing (this is my third batch). I was quite impressed with this Porter. Smooth, not heavy...very drinkable. I will brew this again!

A delightful porter - not too hoppy, so if you want a "robust" porter, this one won't fit the bill. Smooth, with just enough bite. Nice roasty flavor, but not too much. Beautiful dark color. Very flavorful. I'm starting to hide it so my friends won't drink it all. A full, but balanced English-style porter.

Very good Porter recipe. I added 1 lb of pure cocoa powder to make a Cocoa porter. Came out very well. Bold roast flavor with bitter chocolate balance. Would recommend with or without cocoa.
