AHS Imperial Rye IPA (14C) - EXTRACT Homebrew Ingredient Kit

This was my first imperial brew, and I really like like it. Smooth, tasty and at 8% ABV, it has a kick to it. Will definitely do this one again. Even my wife, who isn't an IPA fan because of the typical hoppiness, liked it.

I brewed the all-grain version of this kit about 4 weeks ago and it is an excellent kit. I did change the hop addition profile to bring some of the hops out from 60 minutes into later in the boil. The dry hop additions are excellent, although they tend to fade pretty fast with aging. This is one of the better IPA's I've brewed and have shared it with many buddies. The rye adds a nice roundness to the malt profile. Highly recommended.
