Not Lemony

Turned out ok, but I thought very little lemon/citrus taste and even less creamy taste and that was with dry hopping the remaining 1/2 ounce of Sorachi. In a blind taste test of 3 other people they did not pick up at all on any lemon/citrus. They did taste some small amount of sweetness that was probably the lactose milk sugar. Would I do this one again: No.

This turned out well. Definite cream. Probably could have upped the hops a bit and still bee OK. Got more lemon flavor when I transferred to secondary than I do now that its on draft. Cleaned up real nice w/o any help. Easy recipe...will definitely experiment with it while keeping the base the same.

Fantastic Kit!

Brewed the mini mash kit on April 2 and legged it on April 23. Just tasted it on June 19. Has a wonderful aroma in the glass and the head is as thick as meringue! Has a luxurious mouth feel. The creaminess is followed with a well-balanced lemon flavor. This is a great summer ale and will be in my rotation. I tend to prefer mouth-numbing IPA's and strong stouts, but this is a wonderful light ale.
