I'm mainly a mini-mash brewer, but this was one of the few batches I did with an all-grain process. HOLY COW!!! This is a STRONG beer. Very sweet, very tasty, and VERY alcoholic...I measured it at close to 9%. I nicknamed the beer "LPR"...as in Liquid Panty Remover...you figure it out...

Oh my god! This came out phenomenal...delicious. Perfect carbonation...spicy, alcohol is perfect...has a slight raisin finish, yet clean and drinkable. I fermented at 68F and double pitched wyeast belgian golden ale yeast. Totally awesome beer for Belgian lovers.

I brewed this extract recipe straight from AHS for Christmas presents and it was a tremendous hit with friends and family. Extremely strong, balanced flavors, and delicious. I strongly recommend this beer!!

So, this beer is by far the best I have made. The nose is beautiful, the alcohol is strong (mine came in at 9.7 ABV), but not astringent at all. Overall I definately recommend this beer. I double pitched the yeast, fermented warm for 2 weeks in primary, 8 weeks in secondary, and conditioned for 10 weeks. The carbonation level is low, but totally appropriate. Brew this beer if you like belgian beers at all, it will blow you away

Ya, this beer is no joke! All grain batch with some really efficient conversion ended up at 11.0% abv Very delicious- nice compliment of orange & pepper flavors with some boozy warmth going down.
