AHS Apricot Wheat (20) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

The actual beer isn't bad at all, very clear, clean and crisp however the apricot extract tastes way way too "chemical-flavored" if that makes any sense. It was honestly awful until it conditioned for several more months, then the apricot wasn't a complete deal-breaker. Better to avoid until they get a new apricot flavor extract IMHO. If you buy it, maybe add 1/4 or less of the apricot extract to be safe.

Definately a beer that improved after some extra conditioning time. About 3 weeks after bottling, the apricot extract was overpowering the rest of the profile, but after another 3-4 weeks in the bottle this beer was quite simply amazing. It has been a huge hit with my girlfriend and her friends.

In response to my not so good rating, I wanted to be fair I am serving this right now at a party and everyone is raving about this beer. I guess it must be me.
