All Grain version, I give this a protein rest at 120 for 20 mins then mashed at 152 for an hour, I boiled this hard and quickly chilled this beer with a counterflow chiller. Lagered it cool at 45 deg F. End result was a wonderful malty beer with great color and head retention, I did notice a slight bitterness on the finish that may mellow out in the future, however if not thats fine with me it tastes great as is. I recommend this kit!!!!

This was my first attempt at a lager. It turned out great! A nice dark richness of flavour. A smooth aftertaste. I will make this one again!

I agree with Eric C. There is a little bitter kick at the end that you don't see with the Michelob version, but this is a very good beer.
