Want to make a Yeast Starter? Home brewers are always led to believe making a yeast starter is for the advanced brewer. This could not be further from the truth. If anything beginning brewers should start with yeast starters. When you think about it they are nothing more than a small extract brew. Show Me How To Make A Yeast Starter

Decent choice for a quick AleToberfest

Pitched this 3 times this fall. Once on a Special spiced ale on 9/9 (1.078-1.016) (meh but I put in too much cinnamon), once on a LutraCris IPA (1.070-1.022) that is still Keg conditioning, and on 9/30 I brewed a 1.054 OG 28 IBU "Oktoberfest." After dropping to 1.034 in 24 hours (!), the Aletoberfest completed primary on 10/7 at 1.014. Cold crash on 10/12, raised the temp up for a diacetyl rest for a few days then force carbed it for two days. It really came out very clear and clean, actually wanted more malty backbone but it dropped available sugars like a stone.

Amazing and quick turnaround for crisp ales

Amazing yeast for crisp ales/psuedo-lagers. Made two amazing batches of Brown Ale with this! Fermented and bottle conditioned in literally a week. Just set it out on your porch during these hot Texas summers and watch that baby complete in an insane time, with a lot of the cleanness and crispness of a lager.
