Taprite Permanant O-ring for CO2 Stem

It fits and works as advertised.

Just what I needed to make sure my CO2 tank and taprite regulator are well seated.

If you have a Taprite regulator on your system and a mystery leak, give the embedded o-ring a look. If the integrity is at all compromised, then it's almost assured your culprit. A hex key removes the piece that holds the old o-ring in place. Super easy swap.

I have been struggling with a co2 leak for months. I checked and rechecked everything, tried new gaskets, Teflon tape, and nothing worked. Then I discovered my particular gauge needed a soft gasket and not the hard nylon gasket. Since I have put it on, I have not lost a bit of co2!!! My headache is gone and my beer can be enjoyed properly.

I've now learned its good insurance to replace the O-ring after every bottle swap. These are a perfect fit, Austin Homebrew didn't gouge me on the shipping, and gave me quick turnaround. Thanks guys! After I snugged it down by hand this time, I used some soapy water to check for leaks as I slowly tightened it further until the bubbles stopped. Will always keep a backup on hand. Thanks again.
