Description

This replacement gauge for the high pressure side has left hand threads. This means that the "righty tighty, lefty loosey" rule does not apply. To tighten this gauge, turn to the left; to loosen this gauge, turn to the right. Most regulators (about 80%) are set up with this style of threading on the high pressure side. If your regulator does not have left hand threading, this gauge will not attach.

Doesnít match the photo

The gauge I received works fine, but itís not the same one in the photo. I specifically bought from Austin Homebrew because I wanted the larger Taprite gauge with the ribbed, removable plastic cap, to match my 2-year-old dual-gauge regulator. I received a smaller gauge with a fixed cap. Not the end of the world, and I didnít send it back, but it was a bit annoying. When I busted the original gauge on my regulator, I was hoping to be able to replace it with the exact same part. Like I said, the gauge works great.
