Favorite Clone Recipe

I've tried six different clone recipes so far and this has been my favorite as well as all my friends favorite. I preferred the Wyeast London ESB over the Danstar Nottingham Dry yeast. Definitely worth brewing if you like Firemans #4.

Update from previous review. This brew took a few weeks to age, but after a couple of months in the bottle - turned out great. Wife says my best beer yet. Friends enjoy as well.

Hoppy and holds carbonation well. Not sure what the real one tastes like, but there are better blondes to try.

i made this to get a friend of mine into brewing, seeing as how his favorite beer is Firemans 4. Turned out, in my opinion to be better than firemans 4. It ended up smoother, but i would reccomend letting it condition in the bottles for about an extra week.

I brewed this for my wife as it's one of her favorites. The AHS version is very close the original, and in my opinion tasted better in a side by side tasting... regardless if you like blonde ales, and or Real Ale Firemans #4 you owe it to yourself to brew this kit. I brewed the extract version, with dry yeast, yeast fuel, and the 1% boost, and added Irish moss for clarification. This beer will be on tap as a standard at our house throughout the year. Good job and Cheers to the AHS crew!
