Pilsner Urquell (2B) - MINI MASH Homebrew Ingredient Kit

I brewed this lager quite sometime ago, but it did not quite turn out as I expected. I have to say it was not because of the ingredients. My quality and temperature control were inadequate. I have brewed the Pilsner Urquell clone now twice and I've paid closer attention to the temperature etc. and each time it turned out great. In my local area where Lagers are the choice, it is a favorite.

A winner! Just darn tasty. Fermented in primary at 50 for two weeks, then lagered for four weeks at 36. Dry hopped with a full oz of one-year-old (frozen) Saaz. If you're looking for a robust pilsner that gets you smacking your lips in malty, hoppy delight, then purchase this kit. I trust you'll find pleasure in this beer.

I made this last year and kept a perfect 50 F temperature outside in the Texas winter by insulating the carboy with blankets. Great fresh taste - took a couple of months to mellow but actually had better taste that Pilsner Urquell. Good recipe.
