Description

NEW Ball Lock Keg - 3 Gallon

This new unused 3-gallon ball lock keg has 2 rubber handles, similar to our used Cornelius kegs. These double handles make a convenient stand when inverting your keg to clean. These kegs are built to last!

The keg requires ball lock attachments for both gas and beer sides. It is a good idea to have a spare set of replacement o-rings on hand, with some keg o-ring lubricant. Lubricating the o-rings will help to make them last longer, but eventually, they will become brittle and have to be replaced.

Dimensions: 17" tall x 8.25" diameter

Good Keg Maintenance
Between each use, kegs need to cleaned and sanitized. Taking off the posts and cleaning them can help ensure great tasting beer.

Great Keg

This is the 3rd one of these I've purchased. I brew 6 gallon batches, keg half and bottle half. These are well made. They are actually 12 liters which is closer to 3.2 gallons.

Great Keg

This is my 5th keg and all of them work great. I generally have 2.5 G batches of beer so this works perfectly for serving. If they keep the price around I may pick up a few more.

Great for 1/2 Batch Fermenting

These are the perfect size for making 2.5 Gal. batches (I hotpack From boil kettle to sealed 3gal keg) cool in water bath, open - add O2 and drop in the Yeast, then have a blow off tube from the bare CO2 post. After 1st add CO2 and xfer to 2.5 Gal. secondary and age or serve? Things to think about , 300# screen on dip tube or one of the floaters? a carb lid to add O2 then CO2 for xfer. Also it will not quite dispense on 16gram CO2.

Perfect size!

These smaller kegs are much better for home brews since the chemistry isn't always perfect. :) If the brew isn't quite right, then you haven't wasted 6 gallons. AND the 3 gallon kegs are far less expensive than the 2.5 for whatever reason. Consider the 3 gallon keg before any others based on price and size!
