Traditional usually describes a mead using honey as its only fermentable sugar and flavor source. This traditional mead is mild, with a hint of honey sweetness. Some commercial examples are Gibson's and Chaucer Honey Mead.

The kit was very complete and well organized. The instructions are simple to follow. I had one minor question about details and the question was answered promptly through the Q/A forum. If I had one minor nit to pick, it would be to have a little more information on what precisely was in each packet. I feel that would allow me to understand more about the process and perhaps grow a little more quickly into making my own recipe. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the taste of this recipe as it is still in the first fermentation and won't be ready for consumption for another few months.
