Malty Delight

First time brewing this extract kit from AHS. Service was great, all ingredients complete and 3 day delivery at no extra cost!! Nice easy brew, followed clear instructions to the T. Used Omega OYL 006 British ale in a starter (24 hrs). Added whirlflock, yeast fuel and Alcohol boost as required - OG: 1.064. Activity was within two hours after placing into the fermenter, it was so aggressive I had to install a blow off tube. Currently brew is still fermenting, can't wait to sample this. The color currently looks to be Carmel/Amber in appearance. I am guessing the ABV should be around 6 - 61/2%. Will post more after bottling/conditioning complete.

Great Amber

Great amber ale. Roasty and malty. I put it on Untappd as "Wink's Six Malt Amber Ale.
