Classic Review

This beer has been conditioning for better than two months now and it's slowly getting drinkable. 1lb of treacle is far too much, IMO. I doubt I would attempt this one again but if I did I would use absolutely no more than 0.5lb of treacle. Still, it's an interesting beer and worth trying if you're a fan of treacle. Just be careful and prepare for a long aging process.

Classic Review

I really like this ale. Dark, smooth and very drinkable. It's one of my top 2 favorites. Of course, I like dark, rich, ales. This one has some sweetness to it, but I don't think it's as much as a chocolate stout. It does fill you up. Two is about all I can drink in a night.
