Taking some pointers from our whiskey porter, this stout is beyond extreme. We don't want to ruin the surprise, but you add whiskey and oak chips to the secondary. A few months of conditioning is recommended.
375 ml of whiskey is recommended but not included with this kit. We suggest Makers Mark.

6 months of aging and the beer is great. First few months it was too hop forward and alcohol bite. Used George Dickel white label. Double pitched yeast, but will make a starter next time. Going to brew it again this week so it will be ready for the fall.
