AHS London Calling Ale (11C) - EXTRACT Homebrew Ingredient Kit

After three weeks on the bottle, this is a great beer. I made the AG kit, but used WLP002 yeast for something like a Fuller's.

Brewed this at the same time as the AHS Imperial Stout. Oddly enough, this took longer in the keg to taste right than the stout did. Honestly a little more bitter than I'd like, but that's just personal preference. Drinks easy, slightly malty. I'm happy with it, but probably won't brew it again.

Very good British Ale. Lightly malty and mildly bitter with not a lot of hop flavor or aroma. Very easy to drink.

A very good representation of an "English Ale". Noticeably bitter but not overpowering. Slight sweet malt balances this ale quite well. I liked it so much I just received another kit for it. I think the next time I brew it I might try a lager yeast to lighten it up a little for my lager drinking friends. I give it 4 stars out of 5.
