A very nice pale ale, not at all heavy and nice for the warming months. This was my first time using Sorachi Ace hops. I have heard that they depart a nice lemony flavor but this recipe has them being added at 60 mins so not much of their flavor came through. I would like to try this recipe again but add the sorachi ace at the middle or end of the boil, they smell wonderful!

It's OK......bottled this one also. I was hoping for more hops.

Not sure what's new and improved about the current recipe, but I ordered this months ago when it was a promo. Fermented with Wyeast Pacman yeast at mid-70s temps and it came out very nice, almost lager-like. Love how the flavor came out in this: smooth, every so slightly malted with subdued but present hop bitterness. Very balanced and a great summer drink.

I enjoyed the flavor of this beer, but it was not "aggressively hopped" as advertised. I will try this again if it's still available when I get around to it, but will definitely dry hop in secondary.
