YUMMMM

Brewed using the mini-mash and the Wyeast option (1000ml starter). Hit my OG and temps throughout. Used the included yeast fuel and whirlfloc. Great cold break! 2 weeks primary, 3 weeks secondary. FG came up a bit short 1.020. Bottled. After 1 week (couldn't wait) a bit fizzy but tasty. Now three weeks in and I am in love with this beer. This is a hoppy version of an irish red with the malt to back it. I dry hopped 1 oz of fuggle on secondary. Thick tawny head that stays around for days. Will absolutely brew this again!!!

If you like the Irish Red, you will love this. The color is deep amber with a maltier and slightly drier finish than your regular Irish Red's. I happen to add the ABV booster which raised it up to 9% for me. Well worth the time and investment, I strongly recommend this recipe kit.

Brewed this batch on 9-26 with a starting gravity of 1.070. Transferred to secondary on 10/15 with gravity of 1.014. Haven't put this on tap as of yet, but once I do, I'll keep you posted.
