I do not know why this is not a more popular kit. This was my first all grain brew and it turned out great. Hit all my target temperatures, OG 1.068, FG 1.011, ABV 7.3%. One week primary, 2 months, 9 days (70 days) in secondary then kegged. It is very smooth and easy to drink, tastes and smells awesome. My one mistake, there had to be one in my first all grain, I was concerned about the large quantity of grain and having a stuck sparge. I used one pound of rice hulls in my mash, but did not account for it when I calculated my strike water. If I had my efficiency might have been better. This will be one of my regulars in the beer fridge. Try it you will not be disappointed!

Just finally getting around to enjoying this beer since it was bottled in early January. This beer is outstanding. It's a huge hit with all my friends. One of my buddies wants to even brew with our crew next time for his first time and this beer is what he wants to brew. Flavor is delicious with a great balance of alcohol and spicey undertones expected from this type of Red.

Brewed this batch on 9-26 with a starting gravity of 1.070. Transferred to secondary on 10/15 with gravity of 1.014. Haven't put this on tap as of yet, but once I do, I'll keep you posted.
