Just finished the IPA. It improved with age, and is more than "brown," as I described it. I really enjoyed the complexity of flavors. I guess it's that "biscuit" taste they mention in descriptions. I will brew again. IDK if it was a mini mash or extract (but one of them).

I made a batch of this as my second brew, and just finished the last bottle yesterday (total age about 2 months). I was disappointed in this in that it never really evened out on the taste as I'd hoped. It was overly bitter, and the carbonation in the bottles (1L flip tops) made pouring a pain (about half a class of foam to beer). Although I won't make this again, if you like a good pint of bitter, this might be a good recipe to shoot for.

Nice beer. I basically call it "brown" to the lay person who say they like it. My wife is much more Bass than IPA and she liked it. I dry hopped with 1/2 nugget. This added aroma and some hops. I would dry hop again. Drank it fresh after 3 weeks in the primary--from the keg.

Very good IPA. Nice strong hop character.

This is an excellent IPA, I brewed this one and American IPA counter part at the same time. The recipes seem identical but for the hop selection. The American IPA has a better hop profile (reminds me of Stone IPA) and the British has a richer maltiness. I prefered the American version, after it sat for 4 weeks, the British tasted excellent younger.
