This farmhouse beer from the border areas of France and Belgium imparts a mildly sweet and fruity flavor with great malt, yeast and hop balance. Low bitterness and excellent smoothness with spicy hops for flavoring and aroma give this beer a perfect ending.

Quality Recipe!

Wanted to give you guys a pat on the back---i recently made your biere de garde kit ........my finished beer received "JUDGES CHOICE" honors last Saturday at our local beer/music fest. Thanks for your quality recipes and products!

Classic Review

This beer is surprisingly complex with a distinct light malt start, mandarin orange middle and slightly tart finish. My wife and I agree this is our favorite kit recipe yet. It spent 7 days in primary in the upper 60's, 10 days in secondary in the mid 50's, and 4 days in the keg in the mid 50s at 16 psi before the first pour. After a day in the sun doing yard work, this is quite a treat!
