Our Trappist Trippel is dry and hoppy with fruity accents. Similar in style to Chimay Cing Cents (White), it is light in color, but considerable in its strength.

This is a nice, Belgium, drinkable kit. I made this one back to back with AHS Devils Brew. If you like strong Belgium beers, this is a nice recipe.
Agree that this is far darker than expected. So far 3wks in primary and 3 in secondary. Taste is spot on, I used the white labs yeast and all grain option.
I have made this mini-mash recipe four times. My friends and I can't get enough of it, and they are primarily hop heads! We love this beer. The flavors are distinctive and pleasant but might take some getting used to for the first timer. After one of these I just feel that wonderful, warm glow. After two I can't stop talking! It's a great beer by itself and also wonderful with desert.
Just a suggestion for those who find that it is darker than expected- try late extract additions (Only for last 15 minutes or so, rather than the full boil). It should make for a lighter brew
