Remains to be Seen/Tasted

Kit arrived promptly with all necessary items included per my order. Brew went well. After 30 hours, the yeast were performing so well that the wort was frothing up into the air-lock chamber. It continued over night. The next afternoon when the brewing had subsided, I removed and cleaned/sanitized the air lock, and replaced it with clean water. Today is Day 3 and the CO2 production seems to be pretty much over. Does all this sound normal?
