Southampton Double White Ale (16A) - MINI MASH Homebrew Ingredient Kit

Brewed the Partial Mash version of this, kegged it 6 weeks later. This beer is awesome. Not only is this the best Wit I've ever brewed, it's the best I've ever had. Might even be my favorite beer of all time. I'm gonna try and do the all grain version next.

Brewed the partial mash kit. This is one the of the best beers i've ever had, never mind of any home brew. The citrus and fruity flavors remind you of summer and the chicks like it. This is a winner in my book.

This is one of my favorite clone kits, and I've brewed about 60 or so. I brewed the extract kit with WLP400 yeast and followed the included directions exact. Sat for 1 week in primary, 2 weeks in secondary. Kegged and let it sit for about 2 months because I didn't really want this style beer until the weather warmed up a bit here in PA. Wow. It's delicious. Coriander and orange peel nose, sweet mouthfeel to it, and finishes a little bitter. Perfect lacing and head retention at about 8 psi. Deceptively dark amber color but light in body and not filling. The only complaint that I have is that you can't really drink more than one or two pints or it gets too sweet. My girlfriend said that this was the best beer I ever brewed, and she's a tough critic. Highly recommend this if you like this style, or want something a little bit different for the summer months. It's nowhere near a Belgian white. I just ordered another kit of this so I have it around to drink this summer. Fantastic kit Austin Homebrew!

Everyone who tries this loves it, and they want me to make more! I haven't had the original to compare to, but this recipe is great.
