Not the same

First off, I am a huge fan of the 1 gallon version of this kit. After brewing many of the 1 gallon kits, I thought I'd just move up to the larger kit to save the time and effort of individual brews. The 5 gallon version is much different, though. This kit uses two large cans of liquid malt extract and a small amount of grains to steep. The 1 gallon kit contains the same amount of grains to steep as the 5 gallon kit and provides two different types of DME. The results of this kit are a much darker, heavier brew that is quite different from the 1 gallon kit.

Exactly what you need

This kit is perfect to brew your first batch of beer. It comes with everything you need to try out the brewing process. I haven't tried the beer yet, as it is still brewing lol.
