AHS Irish Red Ale (9D) - ALL GRAIN Homebrew Ingredient Kit

Brewed the all grain version following AHS directions. I tried my first bottle after 3 weeks conditioning, and it tastes great. It's already pretty smooth & tasty....judging from comments it will just get better with time....yum.

This is my favorite. I've brewed this 8 times. Richer than Killians and sharper, not heavier. Very little to no bitter aftertaste.

Brewed the extract version using 5 gallons of water. I only used half of the hops for the first hop addition but followed the recipe there after. Racked into a secondary carboy and then kegged. Let it age for 2 weeks and then drank. Excellent! I'm going to order another kit very soon.

Be patient with this beer! I found a growler from a batch 6 months old. Drank it this past weekend. Amazing difference. Aging will make this beer extremely smooth. The perfect mix of sweet and bitter. I will always age this beer a minimum of 6 months from now on.

This beer received a high ranking for a reason! A very well balanced beer and one I will brew again very soon.
