Not bad, but a bit disappointed

Missed target OG and ended up with a 6.8% beer (quite a bit shy of the cited ~8.3%), thus a bit thin and barely what I anticipated as a proper 'winter warmer'. Drinking the first few a bit 'young' (a week after bottling), I'm not as fond of the spice mix (as compared to some other 'winter warmer' beers/kits I've brewed in the past). With additional bottle-aging it may 'come around'. Don't get me wrong ... its a very pleasant and drinkable winter/holiday beer ... just falling short of what I was anticipating.
